The lady on the left is wearing a corset- inspired skirt. I find it very interesting how she wore with a plain white t-shirt to make the look extremely casual.

 This picture has a very masculine feel to it. It's the pants the model is wearing. The pants is constructed in menswear seam details. It is is related to my nun's habit silhouette and the weight of the fabric.

This is Balenciaga's photo shoot. It was interesting to see their use of delicate detail of corset and lingerie elements in the clothing because it relates to my collection.

Karl Lagerfeld once described Amy Winehouse as a style icon. Her vintage-inspired dress sense, beehived hair and winged eyeliner were replicated by designers, and fashionistas. 

What is suitable for today's pop culture?

Meagan Fox dressed up as Mother Theresa. She is dressed up in latex or leather nun's habit. 

Most religious communities will be offended by such imagery. But having a hot make-over of anything traditional is what we really appreciate in today's fashion world.

So i question, do we keep up with the tradition, or move forward to the new culture?

She's not a pin up girl, nor a nun, but she definitely got the attitude I am looking for in this collection. 

Church Experience

 I recently found out a Catholic Church that was only two blocks away from my house! 

Despite it was Sunday morning, I woke up at 8am to get ready to go to church.

Believe me, the actual interior of the church is much beautiful than this. My eyes couldn't believe it. For the whole church time (which was about an hour) I was looking at the surroundings. I am definitely inspired by this.

After his 30th year in the fashion business, He returns with a symbolic collection of Virgin Mary. This collection made him more admirable and think again he is a fashion genius.

This is totally an avant-garde nun. The silhouettes were interesting, but I am unsure about the head pieces and the shoes...
